The Kohl's KidsAbilities program at Children's Specialized Hospital offers a wide range of educational, social, and community events for children and teens with special needs, their families, and the public. The program is made possible through Kohl's Department Stores.

 

Lightning Wheels
Our wheelchair sports team competes at the regional, national, and international levels, in track, field, swimming, archery, table tennis and weightlifting events.

 

A social group for teens and young adults with special needs, Friday Night Fever meets once a month for events like movies, concerts, Broadway shows, and other outings.

 

This series of community carnivals provides fun, games, entertainment, and educational resources for children with special needs and their families.

 

Walk n' Roll presented by Kohl's
Our annual event draws 2,000 people together to walk and roll the flat, wheelchair-accessible course at Johnson Park in Piscataway, to support Children's Specialized.

 

Resources for businesses, organizations, children, and families, to educate and empower communities about autism.

 

Designed specifically for children, this program helps young people better understand their friend, classmate, relative, or neighbor with autism.
