New Jersey Language and Autism Genetics Study (NJLAGS)
NJLAGS is focused on understanding how genes influence the development of autism in families. With the generous support of the New Jersey Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism, Dr. Linda Brzustowicz of Rutgers University and her research team continue to explore the genetic components of autism with a special interest in language. This study is looking to recruit English speaking families with at least one family member suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder and language impairment along with at least one other family member with a history of language comprehension, speaking or reading problems.
