Comprehensive inpatient therapy is provided for children following a serious injury, illness, premature birth, major surgery, chronic illness or pain, or any other life-changing incident.
Our inpatient rehabilitation is specialized for infants through young adults, up to age 21. Each program provides 24-hour medical and nursing care, plus an intensive daily therapy program. The typical length of stay for an inpatient at Children's Specialized Hospital is 30 days, but this can vary widely based on the diagnosis, child and family, and program.
A team of expert physicians, nurses, and therapists oversees each child's care. Your family will be supported by a patient care coordinator, as well as members of our Family Faculty.
