92.7 WOBM-FM will host the third annual special two-day event, Shawn and Sue’s Making Miracles Radiothon on December 6 and 7, to help Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation raise funds for a new outdoor, wheel chair accessible, therapeutic play area at the Children’s Specialized Hospital outpatient center Lakehurst Road location. The hospital treats children affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays, and life-changing illnesses.
Join Shawn & Sue at Bacchus Wine-Making Club, 1540 Route 37, Toms River, NJ on November 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to kick-off the promotion for this year’s Shawn & Sue's Making Miracles Radiothon.

Purchase your $10 ticket here http://radiokickoff.eventbrite.com/ or at the door, or call 908-301-5602.

Funds will also be raised through silent auctions.
“Children's Specialized is an amazing place where miracles happen every single day,” said Moll. “I'm so proud to be a part of this fantastic radiothon for a fantastic place for kids and families.”
Special thanks to Lou Maschi, for hosting this year’s radiothon and his continued commitment to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Last year, this IHOP restaurant raised $35,000 during National Pancake Day. Thanks also to OceanFirst Bank and Foundation for being a “Miracle Minute Matching Sponsor” and Ocean County Women's Magazine and Bacchus Winery for being “Phone Bank” Sponsors.
Last year, Shawn and Sue’s Heart Full of Hope Radiothon raised over $35,000, which helped Children's Specialized Hospital’s Hospital Assistance Program (HAP), which helps over 100 uninsured, or underinsured families, in 2011 receive the care their children needed, regardless of their ability to pay.
“This is a terrific event and we are happy to again partner with 92.7 WOBM,” said Philip Salerno III, president and CDO of Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation. “We have a deep connection to this community and serve more than 4,000 children every year, right here in Ocean and Monmouth counties. We are excited about the opportunity to work more closely with the community and continue to serve any child who needs us.”
