Robin Walton Earns “Salute to the Policy Makers” Award
First Vice Chair of Children’s Specialized Hospital Board of Directors Honored by Executive Women of New Jersey

Children’s Specialized Hospital is proud to announce that Robin Walton, of Burlington, N.J., first vice chair of the Board of Directors of Children’s Specialized Hospital, was recently honored by Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) with the “Salute to the Policy Makers” award.
 
Robin WaltonWalton was nominated for the Salute to the Policy Makers Award by Amy B. Mansue, president and CEO of Children’s Specialized Hospital, the nation’s largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital.
 
“Over the last 10 years, I have watched Robin continue to grow and flourish as a leader in her community and professional realm. She brings both intellect and poise to every conversation and project,” Mansue said. “She has been a talented Board member, studying, bringing good questions and the right issues to every table. She is a force to be reckoned with and it is an honor to have her as vice chair of the Children's Specialized Hospital Board.”
 
Walton is also the director of Community and Government Affairs at Thomas Edison State College. She is a member of Greater Mercer Public Health Community Advisory Board. Walton is Thomas Edison State College’s institutional representative for the New Jersey American Council on Education Network and chair of the College’s chapter. In addition, she serves on the national Higher Education Government Relations Task Force and the Board for Trenton Public Education Foundation.
 
“I am honored to be chosen to receive the EWNJ Salute to the Policy Makers Award,” said Walton. “It is a privilege to be recognized by this renowned organization for my work in community and government affairs in support of public higher education in the state of New Jersey.”
 
The EWNJ is a forum for senior-level women whose mission is to promote the advancement of women to the highest levels of business, the professions, and government. The EWNJ sponsors a biennial Salute to the Policymakers Dinner, the purpose of which is to honor the contributions of outstanding New Jersey women leaders from private as well as public sectors.
