President and CEO of Children’s Specialized Hospital to Speak at NJBIZ Health Care Symposium
Amy B. Mansue Shares her Take on Changes in Health Care Delivery

On July 26, a team of leading experts will gather together at the STEM Building at Kean University for the 2012 NJBIZ Health Care Symposium to discuss the Affordable Care Act and how it will directly impact New Jersey businesses and their employees.
 
Among those leaders will be Amy B. Mansue, president and CEO of Children’s Specialized Hospital, who is eager to discuss the changes that are taking place.
 
“Although no one knows for sure what the impact of health care reform and the growing pressure to reduce the federal deficits will be, we know that it will dramatic for the healthcare industry,” Mansue said. “I commend NJBIZ for bring stakeholders together to debate, discuss and dissect the potential implications. From these discussions, great policy can be inspired.”
 
The Health Care Symposium will commence with a keynote address from Dr. Jeffrey Brenner, Director of the Institute for Urban Health at Cooper University Hospital and Executive Director of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers. 
 
The program will then feature a panel discussion focusing on the impact of health care reform on businesses and employees, as well as how to successfully implement this developing piece of legislation. The panel will include: Christine Stearns, VP, Health and Legal Affairs, NJBIA; James A. Robertson, Partner, Healthcare Practice, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP; Larry Altman, Vice President, Office of Healthcare Reform, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey; David J. Shulkin, President, Morristown Memorial Hospital; and Robert W. Brenner, Chief Medical Officer, Summit Medical Group. The panel will be moderated by Joel Cantor, Director of the Rutgers University Center for State Health Policy.
 
The Symposium will conclude with Mansue, the featured speaker of the evening.
