Free Program To Guide Parents In Planning Financial Future For Children With Special Needs
Children’s Specialized Hospital Hosts Programs April 22, 23 & 24 at three Locations

Parents looking to receive FREE guidance on how they can plan the future for their special needs child should attend this program hosted by Children’s SpecializedHospital. The presentation will take place at the hospital’s locations in Mountainside, Hamilton and Toms River. 


Hamilton - April 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Hamilton3575 Quakerbridge Road, Hamilton, New Jersey.

Mountainside - April 23, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside – 150 New Providence Road, Mountainside, New Jersey.

Toms River - April 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Toms River94 Stevens Road, Toms River, New Jersey 08755.


As a N.J. Statewide Parent to Parent Volunteer and experienced father of two special needs children, the program presenter, Douglas A. Vogel, will speak on how parents should financially plan for their special needs child’s future.


Discussions will include the following:

  • How to plan for their child‘s future without jeopardizing eligibility for government benefits.
  • What legal documents are needed for planning and who should prepare them.
  •  What funding options and strategies are available to plan for lifetime care and quality of life for the child with special needs.

Douglas A. Vogel is the Special Needs Planner and Financial Services Representative at The MetLife Center for special needs planning. Vogel has been featured in the New York Times, Bloomberg Wealth Manager, Forbes, Reuters, CNN Money, and the Special Need Parent publications.
