Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised over $97 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals – including nearly $5 million from Miracle Treat Day in 2012. The money raised in New Jersey on Miracle Treat Day will support rehabilitative services for disabled children at Children’s Specialized Hospital locations throughout the state.

John Gainor, president and CEO of International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ), thanks everyone who supports Miracle Treat Day.

“When we first decided to host a system-wide event that would involve the entire Dairy Queen family, we had no idea how much impact it would have and how it would grow in size and popularity each year," Gainor said. "Miracle Treat Day has become such a celebration of life and hope, as well as a fundraiser that draws support from local communities of families, neighbors, friends and people from all walks of life who are eager to help the children in their cities and towns who need it the most. The Dairy Queen system really pulls out all the stops to make this event successful each year.”
